It would be great to have an additional attachment which is a security system. This could be something as simple as an IR sensor which alerts you when there is movement in your room.
Would be useful to both alert you if there is an intruder and also to alert you if you haven’t checked out your plants in awhile for things like pest checks or something.
@the_Nick - thank you for this input. Are there motion sensors that detect small movements like insects or bugs? Or is it most geared towards the size of humans?
I was imagining humans. something like this PIR sensor. . I was thinking the app might warn you if you have gone a week or so without looking at the plants.
Insect detection would be cool, I think that would have to be done with either a well focused camera on leaves, or maybe a bait trap with camera/sensor on it.
